Dear Caitlin, thanks for your comments, that's really kind of you to take the trouble. I'm glad my work has been encouraging. But of course everything I do is because of the inspiration of other artists, events, phenomena and the support I'm lucky enough to enjoy.
I'll have to work on better publicity so I can keep you informed. It's not a strong aspect of my abilities.
My very best,
Kira

Hi Kira,
I'm a young actor who recently worked with forced entertainment and I'm also in the national youth theatre. I'm sure you hear this all the time, but you seriously are so inspiring and amazing; genuinely my favourite contemporary actor. Everything you stand for in the form of art, explores something different and exciting. I'm in awe of your work and would really, REALLY apreciate it if you could tell me of any performances or where I could learn or see more about your work, I could only wish to be half as good as you!
Kind Regards,
Cat Hudson

Hi Kira,
I saw you speak at Glasgow University a week ago. Your work is fascinating and challenging, and has elements in common with my own research interests. I am a phd student in archaeology exploring how artistic mediums may inform archaeological investigation, and form outputs for scientific data... I exist somewhere on the edge of art and science, and my interpretations of the past are informed by perfomance studies. In particular, I am interested in the mutability of skin and the boundary between animality and humanity. I explore the body as experienced through ideas of what it meant in the 1500s to be a sinner or a saint, pure or impure. I would love to chat with you about your work and mine if you are interested.

Best,
Morgana

Dear Kira,
It seems a long time since I heard you talk at Tate Modern on Empathy and Detachment, and even longer since I saw you and your pig at Home in Camberwell.
Since then I have merged my own bio-medical sciences (consultant microbiologist in Woolwich) with my art practice (PhD about drawing and empathy at Wimbledon, UAL, participating with staff and located in the hospital where I work in the laboratories as well as the gallery).
Your work sends a shiver of excitement down my spine (and makes me feel at home at the same time)
Thanks
